  4. Welcome to the AGA software compilation Disk One.
  5.

  8. All programs will work on AGA/KS3.0 equiped Amigas, some will work with
  9. ECS/KS3.0, ECS/KS2.04 or (even!) OCS/KS1.3 Amigas.
  10.  
  11. All doc files have icons but not all programs were supplied with icons
  12. so I did not add any.  More (the standard text reader) must be in
  13. the WorkBench Path to view the docs (ie if you are reading this then
  14. it probably is!).  More is found in the SYS:Utilities drawer.
  15.  
  16. The "*** Requires:" field outlines the MINIMUM requirements of Operating
  17. System Software and/or Amiga Hardware required.
  18.  
  19. Also, this disk is formatted with the FastFileSystem.  Only KS2.04 or
  20. greater supports FFS on floppys, so don't wonder why the disk is
  21. unreadable on a KS1.3 or less system!

  31. AGA TEST:
  32.         Shows all the 2^24 colors on an AGA HAM8 screen.
  33.           *** Requires: AGA.
  34.  
  35. AMIGA TO NTSC/PAL:  (v39.2/Release 1.2)
  36.         Patches graphics.library so it will open DBL versions of the
  37.         NTSC or PAL monitors; offering enhanced mode promotion to the 
  38.         display type of your choice.
  39.           *** Requires: KS2.0, ECS
  40.  
  41. BBLANK:  (v39.1)
  42.         Turns on or off the black border around screens on AGA machines.
  43.           *** Requires: KS3.0.
  44.  
  45. CHECKAGA:  (v1.0)
  46.         Simple program to check for the existence of the AGA chip set
  47.         and report back a message.
  48.           *** Requires: Any Amiga. (not tested on KS2.04 or 1.3)
  49.  
  50. CYCLETOMENU:  (v1.10)
  51.         Allows you to use popup menus with the standard gadtools cycle
  52.         gadjets; allowing easier and faster selection.  Includes KS3.0
  53.         support for black on white menus.
  54.           *** Requires: KS2.04 or greater.
  55.  
  56. GIF_DATATYPE:  (v39.3)
  57.         A GIF DataType that allows MultiView or software that supports
  58.         WB3.0 DataTypes to recognise GIF 87 & 89 pictures.
  59.           *** Requires: KS3.0.

  61. KILLAGA:  (v2.0)
  62.         Allows demos and some games to be run from your hard disk rather
  63.         than rebooting and using the Early Startup Control Menu.
  64.           *** Requires: AGA.

  66. PPSHOW:  (release 3.0a, or version 39.471)
  67.         Shows normal IFF ILBM files or those crunched with
  68.         PowerPacker.  Also plays standard Op5 ANIMS.  Also included is a
  69.         patch program to get ASL, ARP and REQ file requestors to use the
  70.         REQTOOLS requestors for a more standard requestor across all 
  71.         software.
  72.           *** Requires: KS2.04 or higher.
  73.  
  74. REND24:  (v1.05.50)
  75.         Converts all types of IFF files (including 24 bit), GIF,
  76.         JPEG into displayable IFF or creates Op5 ANIMS from multiple files. 
  77.         Also HAME and DCTV support.
  78.           *** Requires: Any Amiga.
  79.  
  80. VIEWTEK:  (v2.00.231)
  81.         ILBM/ANIM viewer.  Recognises IFF-24, GIF, JPEG, and ANIM
  82.         Op5 and Op7 formats, amongst others.  Includes ANIMOp7
  83.         creator.  To comply with the distribution conditions, I had
  84.         to compress some of the files to include them all on the disk.
  85.         Use LHA to decompress them.  This will only affect those
  86.         people wishing to use the MakeAnim7, FireCracker, IV24, Retina
  87.         and OpalVision versions of the software.
  88.           *** Requires: KS2.04 or greater.

  108. 17/2/93 - Upgraded AmigatoNTSC (et al) from 39.1 to 39.2
  109.         - Installed new versions of RTPatch, reqtools.library (38.1022)
  110.           and ReqTools preference editor into the PPShow directory.
  111. 21/3/93 - Upgraded VT from 1.03b to 1.04.  The supplied files have nearly
  112.           doubled in length from the last release, so Plasma and Degrader
  113.           have been moved to disk 3.
  114.  2/4/93 - Release 3.
  115.           Upgraded GIF datatype from 39.2 to 39.3.
  116. 19/4/93 - Upgraded WBVerlauf from 1.5 to 1.8.
  117. 28/5/93 - Release 4.
  118.           Upgraded WBVerlauf from 1.8 to 1.9.
  119.           Deleted ForceVGA (replaced with ForceMonitor on Disk 2)
  120.           Added KillAGA.
  121. 19/8/93 - Upgraded WBVerlauf from 1.9 to 2.0.
  122.           Upgraded VT from 1.04 to 1.05.
  123.           Upgraded PPShow's 'reqtools.library' to 38.1042 (21/06/93)
  124. 27/9/93 - Upgraded VT from 1.05 to 2.0.  This version is rather large
  125.           so DoubleX, PKludge, and WBVerlauf have been moved to Disk Four.
  126. 4/10/93 - Upgraded PPShow's 'reqtools.library' to 38.1092 (21/09/93) and
  127.           RTPatch to 38.274 (20/09/93).
